On the evening of May 24, Apple launched the new 2022 Apple Watch rainbow band online on the official website, with the band available in both regular loopback and NIKE loopback models, priced at $57. At the same time to match the new rainbow band online, Apple also launched a new rainbow dial for Apple Watch.

The Rainbow Loopback sports band features the classic nylon Velcro design, but Apple has used a new technology to remove some of the double layer of nylon fabric from the band to present the word “pride” on the band. The font is inspired by the greeting “hello” displayed on the first Macintosh in 1984.

In addition there is a rainbow version of the Nike loopback strap, which uses a Velcro closure design, the overall primary color is black, with the preparation of the rainbow texture, the official said this is intended to pay tribute to the expansion of sports for future generations, to inspire others to feel the joy of being true to themselves.

To match the two new bands, Apple has also brought a new rainbow dial to the Apple Watch. The new dial can move with the colored lines on the dial as the digital crown rotates, taps the dial or lifts the wrist, and Apple has also added an App Clip feature to the band packaging, so you can access the new matching dial in a quicker way when you get the watch.

The band is now online and available for order on the official website. The Rainbow Edition Loopback Sport Band and the Rainbow Edition Nike Loopback Sport Band are both priced at $57.
